Sometimes I make bad decisions. I think they might be the right ones at the time but then it turns out that they aren't.
Sometimes I make good decisions. I think they might be really bad, boring or life-altering decisions but then it turns out that they aren't.
I have tried to keep my heart out of my life. It sounds really funny but often times my heart is what gets in the way. I make decisions based on the pain that I might cause others. I think about all the things that I might have to pay for or regrets i might have but I have stopped. I've stopped caring. I've become the ice queen and for some reason I'm not sure if it's a good thing or not. I know that some have already told me that I've become more closed off or that I've stopped opening up but does that really matter? Is opening up to those that hurt me going to help me in any way? Will it further my career? Will it provide me with any new experiences? I doubt it. The only thing that it will provide is an up flow of thoughts, unwanted advice and a flurry of betrayal after your secrets are spread amongst the many that you'd attempt to keep out.
Maybe I have a cynics way of see in things but that's just the way it is. No Win For Losing. Life looks up and life looks down and sometimes you don't know which is which.
Breathe, take a step back and think…In five years, my company will be up and started. My mind will be on the right track. My kid and i will be living life the way it's suppose to be lived and I will continue to be the same Irma.
Dreams do come true. It just depends on what time they come.
Better Late Than Never!

My opinion is but a speck of dirt in a dirt mound and yet, somehow, it seems to matter. I'm just keeping a journal of random thoughts and I don't mind if you read it...that's all. I've decided I'm going to write a book...new book idea of course, of my life...and having a blog makes it so much easier to keep things in order! So excited!

Moving from Lawrence, Kansas...What to see something else...live somewhere else.
So I have decided that after my current lease is up (August 2014) I am going to move from Lawrence. I have come to a point in my life where I've seen enough of Kansas and I want to live elsewhere. Somewhere I can make new friends, new memories, a completely different environment. I have included the list of cities/states that I am choosing from. Yes, my decisions might change but for right now these are looking like the places I love the most. I have decided that I need to get over my fear of being alone and abandoned. For heavens sake, I won't be completely alone! But that's really been what has been holding me back. I've always been frightened I'll move somewhere, I won't know anyone and no one would care if I was lost or scared or needed support. But I'm an adult. It's time to start acting like one. So here goes life. As my latest fortune cookie from Jade Gardens said "Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing." I'm taking that whole heartedly and am going out on my own.
Here are the places that I currently have to choose from, my list:
Vail, Arizona
Bristol, Rhode Island
East San Gabriel, California
Cecil-Bishop, Pennsylvania
Kensington, Connecticut
Fircrest, Washington
Ocean View, Delaware
Grants Pass, Oregon
Morton Grove, Illinois
Skyesville, Maryland
Bozeman, Montana
Arlington, Nebraska
South Hooksett, New Hampshire
Tyron, North Carolina
P.S. I am leaning mostly towards Washington and Oregon but my mind may change. I have just been hooked on those two. I need to do more research!!!

Coming Back To My Blog to Write A Book!
I've decided that I want to write a book of my life. I have journals that I wrote in when I was a little kid following up to middle school, high school and the first few years of college. I think that since I have all this information I might as well put it together since I'm a writer anyway. So I guess I decided to start blogging again. That way I can put my posts in the book as well...I think it'll be fun! I also think it'll be cool to hear back from people about the idea. Maybe I'll ask my family and such, see what they think!! I'm so excited!
I also feel kind of weird, I'll have to dig into my past. I'll have to talk to people I haven't spoken to in years and dig up old dirt...Whatever, that's life and we must all deal with the past at some point.
I look forward to writing and blogging!
